For the 39th year the Algarve is host to its own regional fair, with people travelling from across Portugal to exhibit their products, skills and gastronomy in Lagoa.

There are animals on show; lambs, cows and of course horses and very night there is an equestrian show which delights adults and children alike.

Arts and crafts are represented from across the country along with clothing and household goods plus much much more.

There is plenty to eat, with Portugal's tasty regional dishes and beverages from across the country to enjoy. You will of course find international flavours represented also.

Concerts are staged each night with Mariza, the popular Portuguese Fado singer, taking to the stage on August 18 with other nights offering a wide variety of music.

The fair opens at 6pm every night from August 17 to August 27, closing at 1am. Tickets cost €3.50 each with a family of four ticket costing €12.50 - tickets are bought at the gate.
